I have 100,000 more miles on my durango than that. 250,000 and runs strong. I keep up on maintenance oil changes, tranny fluid and filters, differentials, transfer case and greasings. I have had little problems. PCM box went, solenoid in the tranny, other than that normal wear items. The only thing I can recomend is check all your boot seals. Especially the one on the 4 wheel drive shaft. It is tucked in there pretty good on the transfer case end. You will know if it has been damaged for awhile when you put it in 4 wheel drive and you ripped out the splines on the shaft from all the rust.

I am impressed with my D here are some major repair components and time/mileage for me.

purchased DEC06 62K

Tires Michelin X-rad X4 Jan 07 63.5K Alignment

Front/Rear pads/rotors MAR 07 64.5K

Blower Motor Resistor AUG07

Transmission JAN 08 76K NOTE TO SELF USE MOPAR SEALANT NOT GASKET

RH CV AXLE (DUST BOOT TORN) JUL08

4 Wheel Alignment AUG 08 (Western PA ROADS) BRAKE FLUID FLUSH/BLEED included in that project.

Blower Motor Resistor AND Wiring harness OCT 08

Rear Pinion Seal (Leak) JAN 09

WATER PUMP (FAIL) APR 09 103k Includes Thermostat/pump/both hoses and serpentine belt. I strongly recommend Goodyear Gatorback

SHOCKS X4 MAY 09 Bilstein HD

Rear Brake Pads JUL09 107K

Tire Rotation SEP09 108.5K Tread is still about 6/32 after almost three years and well over 40K miles. Tread depth was done by Costco but I watched them measure.

Front Brake pads/rotors SEP 09 109K Duralast C-max Ceramic

PAX Side HUB/Bearing assembly and CV AXLE (YES AGAIN, DUST BOOT TORN!) SEP09 109.5K

Exhaust, DYNOMAX, muffler back...Today wx permitting lets call it 110K

Transmission fluid filter later this week. I recommend a MAG-HYTEC pan, it is made for the 45RFE and 545RFE transmission and includes drain plug and cut out for temp sensor sending unit. $300 but will probably pay for itself after a couple of fluid/filter changes. Lowest price I found in the local area was about $150 and that is just fluid/pan/filter removal/replacement.

Alignment to follow soon after the transmission project.

Hope this helps.

Steve

Thanks for all of the comments and suggestions. I'm glad that there is a group like this that will help each other out, instead of one that will tell you all sorts of bs.
