Default gas tank,fuel pump,and regulator.

hello everyone just a quicky. i'm sure some of you were aware that i had the fuel issues and bucking once in a while. and did what was recommended by the peeps from this thread.i cleaned out the fuel throddle body and cleaned the sensors.i right away saw a differance if the power but still have HORRIBLE gas milage.10 - 11 miles to the gallon.but the last time i put $20. bucks in i also threw in some gas treatment and some injector cleaner with the gas and i got aprox 13 miles to the gallon which is a litle better.no check engine light.last tune up was may (sparkplugs and wires) 2 months ago changed the oil, transmission filter and fluid.also re torqued those 2 bolts that was recomended in the manuel.changed the valve gasket seals.and replaced the air filter.
i was told to do a fuel pressure check but just havent gotten to it yet but will in a day or two. any other possiblities why the d is sucking the gas down like beer on a hot summer day??

as for my second question i came across a guy the is selling parts off his d.soo off course i jumped on the tires, rims, hitch, and some other odds and ends that i know will come in handy in the future.i also told him that i might want his gas tank just because im also having an issue with either the fuel pump or the fuel regulator. ok now heres the question i have a 5.2 and his is a 5.9.are they the same??

It's the same pump.

Have you tried to modify your TPS or have you replaced the IAC or MAP sensors?

Also, you need to do a full reset of the PCM any time you mess with sensors. Look at the front of this thread: Engine Code Index (Check Engine Light?)

Surging up and down while at freeway speeds or really noticed when the cruse control is on as well as bucking has been noticed. Also stumbling from a stop.
