doesn't the 4.7 put out more then the 5.2?? almost hurts to think about but the 4.7 saw alot of upgrades when the swapped to that engine.. most notably the individual coil packs for each cylinder. my 5.2 runs off the good old distributor. can you put individual coil packs on the 5.2???

3.9L 180 = hp and 195 Torque

4.7L 235 = hp and 295 torque

5.2L 225 = hp and 295 lbs torque

5.9L 245 = hp and 335 lbs torque

5.9L R/T = 245 hp and 345 torque

3.9L was only available in late 1998 and full 1999 year and was discontinued there after in 2000 because of lack of demand. The 4.7L wasn't used tell 2000-2003. It would not have been the best choice. Not to mention he installed a bullet proof motor at that.
