Default Blowe Motor replaced but barely blowing air out

First time poster but here is what I have. 2000 D 4.7L V8. My blower motor was makeing a lot of noise and not blowing out much air so I took it in to the dealer. They replaced the blower motor but now it is barely blowing any air out. You can tell the difference between the different speeds, but hardly any air is coming out. I took it back to the dealer and they are saying there is a bad vent but they say the part is discontinued. Any suggestions

BS

Classic dealer. To replace the blower motor the dash comes out so sounds like the dealer didn't put it back together the right way....IMHO

If they replaced the blower motor... yes they would have had to take the dash out.

Did they?

If they did, then they fouled up the "Blend Door" operations (vac operated) and it is probably not opening to allow any air out because it isn't connected.

Make them fix it. They are wrong.

They did take the dash out to replace it. I figured it was something they did when they put it back together. I think they realize that but now they can't get the part to fix it...hmmmm...

Their problem. Again, make them fix it.
