Default NEWB Question: Part # request 2002 Durango

I've been asking around the dealerships and I've been getting the run around.

Can anyone help me with this.

I'm looking to replace these broken parts and I need the part # or a place to get them.

1. Park Brake Release handle.

It's plastic and broke.

and

2. The Plastic "plate/latch" underneath the armrest that makes it possible to close.

The actual hook(also plastic) that keeps it locked was broken when someone broke into my car.

Can anyone please help.

Maybe I have things mixed up. I have a 02 Durango. Am I in the wrong section?

Yes this is the second generation Durango (2004-2009). I will move this thread to the first generation Durango section. Hydrashocker or Indydurango are the experts,

or meeeeeeeeeee

if you are referring to the plastic handle which releases the e-brake the part number for mine is on the back of of the part just take it with you to the dealer, or check a junkyard for a matching one the dealer told me 35 or 40 bucks for that freaking piece of plastic, i just patched it up with a piece of aluminum bar on the back to hold it together.

and for the plastic latch (i assume this means you have one of the rare Durangos which came with a bench seat????) look for a dakota with a bench seat in a junk yard and steal the whole armrest from there

my .02 im going to be home this weekend i will check the part number on mine for you when i get there on friday
