Default Help with wheel hub!

Hey all, finally getting around to replacing the drivers side wheel hub on the 98 durango. The guy i bought this from said it was done a yr and a half ago at the dealer so i was wondering why it was messed up again.
Anyways as i was going to remove the old one i think i figure out why this new one died so soon, they forgot to put one of the bolts back on the hub. So i got the old out off, put new one on, now i need that 3rd bolt, Does anyone know the size of this bolt so i could pick it up someplace but the dealer, the rural king here has bolt strenght #8 in many sizes...

Thanks for any help....

Take one out and take it to them. Get grade 8.

I'd just get all of them and replace then so they are all torqued the same.

Will you send me the old one thats bad?.......I want to do a DIY rebuild on one.

Hydra, I hope you get to try your rebuild soon. Please post a DIY on that. My right wheel bearing is going and i'd rather not replace the whole assembly.

4x4 4 wheel ABS front hubs run ~$225 each. If you can go the bearing route and it lasts 100,000 miles, it is worth it for only $50. The key is if it only lasts 25,000 it isn't worth the trouble. It will be a 2-year test on vehicles that may not last 2 more years so it will be difficult to establish the validation. If one only plans on keeping the vehicle a year or 2, then it makes great sense to go the bearing only route.

I've seen both ABS and non-ABS bearing go out in 9 months so if I could find WHY and fix the issue the bearings should last a lot longer. But even 1 year is better than nothing for $50 ya know?

9 months is well within any aftermarket warranty. Take it back and get a new one.
