Got the USED PCM from local auto wreckers PLUG & PLAY and no more starting problems

On to the PCM controlled tranny tomorrow.
Fluid,
Filter and
Adjustments
- Kickdown Band ADJ.
-Low Reverse Band ADJ.
-Shift Cable ADJ
-Shift Linkage ADJ
-Throttle Valve ADJ.
-Transfer Case Shift Linkage

Am I missing any other adjustments that can be done to the trans. before any elc. diagnosis begins?

I've learned so far the PCM controls Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) operation, overdrive clutch operation and the governer pressure solenoid. The PCM determines shift points and TCC operation based on input signals received from transmission fluid temperature sensor, output shaft speed sensor, Crank Position Sensor (CKP), Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and battery temperature sensor. I'd consider this an electronic transmission, it can't operate without a computer.

After the lock reset is something magical suppose to happen.. cause nothing happened when I did it so I'm assuming no security on this one just the "Panic" or "where's My Car" button

SUCCESS!

Adjusted two bands, fluid and filter.
I can"t believe it but no more slipping in reverse or forward and the noise in reverse is gone also

Thanks for all the help

Now to figure out the bucking in reverse while in 4x4

A transgo shift kit can fix that. I think it's a leaky gasket. Check em out on www.transgo.com
