Default Problems with motor fan

Hello Dodge community,

I have a problem with my '99 Dodge Durango 5.9 4x4.
The cooling fan (engine fan) runs continuously with the full stage and is therefore noisy.

Has anyone any idea what could be the problem?

I'm thankful for every tip, because here in Germany no one knows what to to with the the Durango.

Best Regards
Benjamin

welcome to the forums german-dodge.

It may be possible that your fan clutch have seized up. With the engine off, try spinning the fan. If the fan will not move up to 1/3 to 1/4 of its rotation, chances are, it seized up.

I should have finished school and got my bach back before I got married and a job!

I got ya beat. I got wife and two crazy kids, a 7am-4pm shift, and then part time school evenings from 5pm-7pm. So mentally I am not there anymore much less physically!
