Default Power outlet fuse

Anybody know where the fuse is for the power outlets on a '00 durango 4.7? The cig lighter works fine. Can't find the sucker. Nothing else is not working. Thanks.

The fuse is in the PDC, thats the black box under the hood. Check all fuses with a 12v test lite, thats because most of the time you can't see the fuse blown.

Tiebreaker anyone? Haven't seen the label fo this circuit either place, and haven't had the motivation to check each fuse w/ a meter.

I don't have my info right now but look in the dash fuse box. I'm sure you'll find it. THe back of the cover has a diagram on it.

There is a fuse block by the driver side kick panel, that block has fuses front and back and the fuse is on the back. Look above your emergency brake. That fuse is for your power outlets in dash and rear cargo area.

Maybe I'm a big dummy, but I did not know there were fuses on the back side of the block, those sneaky little boogers. That sounds like it, I'll check tomorrow.

Sure enough, there's four fuses on the back side, and the 20A is for the power outlets. God knows what the other three are, but worth a look if you ever can't find an electrical break. Thanks for the help. Now I can go back to running the satellite radio, GPS, cell phone, Ipod, DVD. Maybe I'll get a blender for the rear outlet.

And you wonder why you blew the fuse?
