Default Paint help.

I have a few questions about waxing my car.
I dont no what there called but when some people see them they always ask if ive been "egged" . looks like a bunch of deep scrathes in a circle. i want to see if theres any way to get them out or make them smaller.
also above my back left window the paint is like turning gray.
any advice, i dont no much about waxs either.
Thanks

get a cheap buffing wheel and some scratch remover and try it dont press hard let the weight of the machine do the work and keep the wheel moving dont keep it in one spot to long as it will build up heat and f up the clear.

or take it to a detail shop and have them wheel it out

if you are not experienced with detailing take it to a professional detail shop to have them try to buff it out, (i only say this because getting the buffing right takes experience and practice, and you are removing some of the clear coat every time you do this) and the fading/gray area is the clearcoat having rubbed off (another reason i would not suggest trying to buff the marks out yourself, your clearcoat is already wearing thin and who knows how thin), that being said buffing it might do more harm than good, but it is the only thing to get swirl marks out w/o repainting the entire truck

btw the circular scratches are called swirls, or swirl marks and are EXTREMELY hard to get rid of if they are as deep as you say

Use two buckets while washing you vehicle. One with clean water and one with the car wash. Rinse in the clean and charge in the suds. This way, dirt does not get in the suds. Also, use a chamois or a microfibre towel to dry and do not use cotton towels. I use a dual-action orbitor wheel (about $125.00) with a fine swirl mark removal once a year.
