Buy it at least 2000 and up. 2003 is the very best!
Ball joints and transmission are really the only culporates. Make sure there are great records of trany fluid changes and other service records. Everyone that takes care of these trucks get great life out of them!

We are currently having a Troll problem in the forum with a Troll creating many new login IDs and posting up crap and questions and crap and questions. Since this is your 1st post, and your post has similarities to the Troll, until he is banned for good, don't be surprised if you posts get less than stellar responses. Until many know you are you and not him, you will not get the benefit of the doubt. Sorry about that, just the facts. Troll ruin it for everyone.
He needs to be flushed like the turd he is or this is the result for all new posts for a while. The powers that be here need to wake up and take out the trash.
