the problem here in mass is some of the police i lasted 2 days cut off from the cat back before i got a ticket for inproper eqipment or some thing the funny part was the durango was still really fast with no muffler

That's what cut outs are designed for
Open exhaust is only good for sound, loose performance on our durangos.
To be honest stock durango's sound like crap opened, unless you have headers and a high flow cat

i dont think his set up would sound as good on the 4.7 as it does on his 5.2, but i kinda wanna make a trip and take it out of his garage to find out for sure (he is only a couple hours from me)
