She's had her fair share of loud entrances most appealing to all, but the time of being a little more kinder to the neighbors at 3am emergency calls prevails. Yeah it may sound great, who am i kidding- it sounds "awesome", but in the winter months of colder weather it requires more than a 3 minute warm up in the driveway at 5:30am for a more comfortable ride into work.

In short, be nice to your neighbors...

Quick dead battery 33 degree cold start didnt want to rev it up being 6:40 am so i kept it under 3k and still went a lil deaf

 

man thats a nice sound, wish i could **** off the neighbors that easily

how did you get such an aggressive sound in the first video? I wantmy rango to sound like that but my super 44 aint cutting it!

Single piped it for quieter mornings, the vid above was with no muff before i brought it down to the shop, video on the camera does no justice to the loudness

I had a AT FM 40 (The orig series- IMHO loudest), was shaking the neighbors windows on warm up Not the best way to meet new neighbors 3 houses down.. I go to work early 5am etc so its necessary to warm up the beast to de-ice.
I now am the owner of a HD ss 3" cat back system with a 3' (looks like stock) muffler.. Shes quiet. Tooo quiet.. I cant tell if its running and now the tires and everything else seem too loud Its surprising how much drone hides everything... As for the cant tell if running issue, been a couple stoplights i thought it died and tried to restart Time to relearn this beast.

Revving the engine up sounds soooo pathetic but you can hear a hint of the headers, heres some snaps/vid of the new setup.

True, very true.

I only did it in respect for my neighbors (mostly elders) so it exactly wasnt a happy decision.
But before you eat me alive come be my neighbor for a week, i garuntee after the first couple 3am warm ups, a few 1am/4am 15 minuted rumble of your house/head/and spouse you'll have second thoughts
