Default Oil Priming idea worked awesome!

Ok, without a distributor shaft to spin the oil pump with a drill, I was bothered by not being able to prime the motor before starting it. I built the contraption in the picture. Its a 2" piece of PVC with a screw cap on top and a cap on the other end. I fitted one end for the air compressor lines, and the other to a piece of 3/8" hose connected to a brass fitting into the oil pressure sending unit hole. I filled the tube with about 1.5 quarts of oil. I pressurized the PVC tube with about 20lbs and hand turned the motor until I saw oil coming through the valve train. The motor is now primed. :-)
