Unhappy Hose separating / blowing coolant

hello all, something very bizzare just happend today,
my 2002 durango was just ideling just fine in the driveway and
'BAM' coolant started blowing out the bottom and the top..
so i figured i blew a hose...come to find out , in the back left hand corner where the rear ac lines are , there was a y shaped hose
(i think its the rear heater hoses)
that had come apart (no clamps on this hose connection just snaps in(wierd).. anyone seen this or know why this is happening , reassembled the hose and it blew apart again ....help....

have you tried purchasing some hose clamps to clamp it on.

I've heard of people cutting it out and replacing it with a brass Y and new heater hoses ad installing stainless steal worm gear clamps. I don't remember if there is any internal comonants other than just a Y inside tho?
