A while back I started having Hazard Light issues where they would work for a while but then would freeze in the on position. I was never really concerned because I really don't have to use that that often. But a few days ago my blinkers, turn signals, started doing the same thing. They will work for a minute or so... then freeze. I turn them off and on and they may or may not work for a minute... it just depends on their mood. So with it being both blinkers and hazards, would it be a relay or potentially a wiring a issue? Any ideas?

 

Try to find a known good flasher combo and reck. Or replace the combo flasher.

 

I had to change the relay on my Demon as the turn signals would blink once every ten seconds or so. Took me an hour to find the wiring tucked under the radio instead of by the steering column. A ten dollar relay and all is well (flashers are a separate relay). Hopefully it is a simple cheap fix in your case,

Replace the flasher located on a 1998 and 1999 in the fuse panel drivers side lower left hand side. It is a small box looking flasher. Pull it straight out and it looks like a relay. This is the turn signal combo flasher. Auto Zone sells them for about $10 and replace.
