i have actually never had a problem with that, and we dont tend to use the e-brake when we park in the driveway, maybe the driveway isnt steep enough to cause a problem . . .

I always use it when parking on a hill. It's bad on the trans to not.

i usually use it whenever i park, but my parents never did for 5 years before i got it, and they still dont when they drive it while im out, kinda sucks, but they do it with all their cars . . .

Right. +1. It binds and then does exactly what his description says. Nothing. You can rock it, move it, or let it rest and hope it relaxes enough to start. If you are not a ebrake user like me, a slight angle to the parking and you are set. It changes the angle dramatically and no issues.
