difference between 4x4 suspension vs 4x2

whats the difference? 4x4 is lifted a bit higher but what makes it higher then the 4x2? thanks.

4x2 has coil overs in the front, 4x4 has torsion bars, this in the front is the only difference i know of

OEM does not need the height of a 4X4 in a 2 wheel drive. Buyers like having them down a little so it's more like a car then a large 4X4. It becomes a selling point if anything.
