The alarm is no longer in the truck. Where else should I look?

Did you check and clean the grounds on the battery cables both sides?

So your D won't start even with the alarm out. Could be the neutral saftey switch. After you drive around for a while, getting the engine hot, can you restart it after a half hour or hour later? Mine was like that and the experts here and on another board have narrowed it down to the neutral safety switch. That may be your problem. I think your nss is located on your tranny. I may be wrong so let's hear from the experts!

Swap out the starter relay with one of a same number in the under the hood PDC.

Hard starting and stumbling with excessive fuel to start could be a Camshaft Sensor. First thing first, check the ground to chassis connections and clean the connections and re-bolt. Clean the Throttle Body and IAC.

When’s the last time you did a tune up?

And finally, what motor/trans combo are we working on???????

Here's a review of what we're dealing with here, so we can get back on track.

2000 Durango Sport 5.2l 5 speed automatic, a/c, tow package, 100k miles.

Truck will crank, but will not fire.

Alarm was suspected, but is no longer in the truck.

All battery connections are clean, new battery, new alternator.

Pulled a spark plug to check for spark, plug was wet with fuel - no spark.

Thanks, Hydra. I finally have a day to work on this again. I'll start there.
