Default 2000 R/T trans. question

O.k. people this is one that ran across my mind the other day.
Short of changing the trans and transfer case for different ones, has anyone tried, or heard of a way to convert the "all wheel drive" to 2 wheel, then 4 wheel when you need it?
I'm new with these D's, so be gentle, please!

You can replace the t-case for the one style you want. There is a huge thread regarding t-cases and I believe it is stickied to the top of the forum. otherwise you could pull the driveshaft going to th front tires but you will not be able to go into 4wd.

It wasn't stickied but take a look at this thread and it will help you determine the t-case you want.

An AWD and Part Time case are two different animals. You need to read that thread ^^^^
