98 durango shuts down when i step on the breakes!!

Unhappy 98 durango shuts down when i step on the breakes!!

Please Help...
My 98 durando is shutting down, every time I release the gas peddal at very low speeds, allways happens when I'm trying to park (reverse).
Any coments will help. Thanx.

first which engine do you have, and which trans if you know it, and is it 4x4 or 4x4 (you would be surprised the little differences that all this makes)

and now from what i know i would say look at the TPS and the IAC and clean the throttle body

Vacuum leak. Look on the brake booster and there is a black valve on the passenger side of the master cylinder that is a check valve which is the most likely issue. Dealer item.

Sorry shrpshtr325...

I forgot the details, This is 98 Durango 4x4 with a 5.2 engine, don't know about the trans.

hydra has an easier and cheaper fix, check for vacum leaks first cause its much easier and cheaper , and its ok nobody is perfect, (except me )
