ok here is my problem.about 2 weeks ago my durango wouldnt start. p340 error code.I replaced the crankshaft position sensor,it solved my problems for about a week.I parked my vehicle went into a store and it wouldnt start when I came back,same error code.replaced the part again thinking it was a shabby sensor.now I have the same error code again and the durango starts sometimes..it wont start,go back a couple of hours later and it fires up on the first crank,error code will still show after clearing the codes and 5 min of driving. can anyone give me an idea of what else to look for?

 

Look at the harness and any other connections regarding it's operation.
