As I thought, something very elemetary, Elbow deep in Durango tracing all wires till wee hours of the morning till I noticed an unfamiliar arc on right side of motor. Turned out to be the coil wire was burnt and laying on the ex. manifold. Replaced that with a wire from the race car, ran like a champ. Thanks for all the input, this is a great site!
