Default Radio Bezel removal

Can anyone tell me how to remove the radio bezel?
Do I have to take the whole dash apart to remove the radio?
Is there any write up on how to do this?
Thanks for any help.

I would like to know the same. I think there are in the DIY section though too. Or run a search and see what you get. I think there were threads about this before.

Just pull on it and it will pop loose. If you need to you can use a screwdriver to pry it up.

what year is it? if it is 98-00 then mean green is correct, if it is 01+ then the whole dash needs to slide out (an easier way to tell is if you have a square radio mean is correct, if you have an oval one than its a bit harder)

its an 01 with the rounded edged radio.
I did a search and found only one thread about taking the entire dash apart to get to the radio. Are you freakin kiddin me?
I haven't really did a thorough inspection of the dash yet. It's my wife's truck.
I just can't believe the entire dash has to come off to remove the radio!
what's with these auto makers? Do I have to take the hood off to change the wiper blades too?

None that I know of but you should take off the dash frontal that is a pop on then see what to do.

this is basically what he is working with, and the wood grain part (might not be wood grain for him, this is my truck) does NOT come off (my dad tried it to get the hvac controls out before i inherited the truck and had to pull the entire dash from the drivers-side over to the edge of the airbag panel.

shrpshtr, that is exactly what I am working with (minus the wood grain).
Your saying I have to take off the dash from driver side all the way over to the glove box?
I appreciate all the input. These kind of sites are what make the internet a great thing.
