Okay, I decided to change out my back O2 sensor, I got the replacement part. The question is, how hard is it to gain access to the rear O2 sensor? I assume it is on the output side of the cat? Also, this is for my R/T model which has the skid plate underneath so I am not sure if this needs to come off to gain access to th O2 sensors.
I'm 95% sure the rear 02 sensor is behind the cat. IIRC, from my SLT, the skid plate doesn't cover the exhaust so the plate doesn't need to be removed. HTH.
Rear O2 is closer to the muffler than the CAT. From the rear doors... find the center of the exhaust from there. Rear O2 should be right about there and should be fairly easy to access in comparison to the front one.
Wow, that is quite a ways back then! Damn, wished I knew this much earlier today after fixing my seat. Cold weather is upon us in DFW the next few days so I am outta luck until we warm up again.
