Default steering column noise

after i replaced my heater core i started to notice a few noises that i didnt have before. when i turn the steering wheel i get a clicking noise' but it goes away if i tilt the wheel all the way up. which i find to be strange since the angle on the shaft is greater. i also have a clunking noise that i feel in the wheel if i hit the brakes hard, accellerate hard or hit potholes hard. i dont believe that its suspension related. any thoughts would be helpful. thanks.

check under the dash and see if the clinking is coming from under the dash there is a technical service bulletin about that

More than likely there is something loose on the column. Check and re-tighten.
