Changing Vehicles
depends on what you want, dakota will perform similarly to the durango and will eat about as much gas, make srue you get a v8 in the dak or you will regret it,
now a ram is bigger, eats more gas, and (if you street park, or have a small driveway) will take up more room to park, if you are not towing you really dont need a diesel in the truck, but duranged is right, ALOT more torque out of diesels, easier to mod i wouldnt bet on, cheaper, idk about, but you have a better starting base to go from i could put you in touch with a guy who knows everything possible about cummins diesel engines (well pretty damn close to it, his cummins ram makes over 750hp and almost 1200 ftlbs of torque, yes he has too much money to plaly with)

gas vrs diesel is a huge debate.. In the end its what suites you best..
In a stock configuration
If you haul alot, take long trips, expect to retain up past 200k, expect to get a higher value from a high milage vehicle, cheaper to maintain, cheaper to mod, expect better mpg , diesels the way
If you like to go fast, if you want a cheaper price tag, gas stations are everywhere, If you like a quiet engine, if you like non-perfumed exhaust, if you dont want to worry about priming after running empty on gas, if you dont like the turbo sound, go gas
Its all personal choice...
Cummin's TD ftw
