as long as it has the same weight (the 75-90 part) as the manual calls for then YES it will work just fine, just make sure you add the friction modifier (dealer item afaik) if you have the limited slip in the rear
It has all the additives you will need but if you have a Limited Slip rear end you need to add friction modifier even if you use Mobil One LS rated gear oil.
I use Amsoil synthetic 25,000 mile. I change it at half time since there is more than 100K miles on the engine now. It's a very good oil.
If you are curious about what your oil is like before you change it out, take a sample and sent it to Blackstone Labs. There, they run a complete anaylsis on it and let you know what is actually in it. It's sort of like a small price for insurance.
yeah i have seen all the stuff about amsoil. And the only place that has it around here charges 23 dollars a quart for oil and thats a little high for me.
$23 for a quart of OIL??!!!!!!!!!????????!!!!!!! are they out of their minds??? i dont care if its oil that will "never need to be changed again" im not paying $23 * 5 to do an oil change

The funny thing is they won't even list their Oil Base on their MSDS sheets!!!! I will bet it's only a Hydo Cracked and if that's the case their raping EVERYONE! Mobil One is pure Polly Base and you can get it for $23 bucks a 5qt container and it out performs them....IMHO.... And you wonder why 70% of NASCAR uses Mobil One Fully Synthetic......huh?

Actually, if you buy directly from them it is only $8.70. It is a few dollars less if you sign up and become a preferred customer which I did and you actually save money in the long run. Even at full price of $8.70, and you run the oil only to 12,000 miles and not 25,000, it comes to only $2.90 a quart (counting three oil changes).
If anyone is charging $23 for a quart of amsoil motor oil, that is nothing more than highway robbery.
