How do you have a rust spot on your bumper? it's made of plastic.

Yea I've seen Rustoleum or whatever I think that's just the brandname right? I figured they would have a primer and paint that go together.. I'll get down there to check sometime this week.

yup rustoleum is a brandname, works well as long as you spray it on right, one thing to make sure is that you spray the right distance away from the bumper so that it covers properly WITHOUT running, or else your gonna be doing it all over again

or if you have a paint shop they can make you a can of actual car primer and they can mix you a can of automotive paint in a spray can that will match your color. i have done this before when rock chips get bad on the hood. its like 20 bucks a can but it looks better than just primer. but yeah like sharp said sand it good. then after painting it and it dries buff it. oh yeah make sure when you get the paint its the one with the clearcoat mixed in with it.

for the bumper it doesnt need the clearcoat, and thats all he is doing (at least as i understand it) no need to waste money on the cleared stuff for the bumper (makes repairs on it easier later too cause there isnt clear to remove)

Dupli-Color makes a OEM color match in a spray can.

I have OEM:
PW7 - Bright White Clear Coat

Dupli-Color
T346 Bright White CC

as part number corresponds to. I would but a coat of clear on it though. They also sell primer and you can find it at Checkers. https://www.duplicolor.com/duplicolor/step1.php

Someone said get the paint with the clearcoat mixed in, someone else said add a clear coat afterward. Which one should I do?

I got a grey (stock grey obviously) durango. I figure it wouldn't be a hard color to find.
