Default Front Window Tints

I've been debating back and forth whether or not I want to get the front windows tinted to match the back factory tints.

I think it's 20% in the back for the factory tint but I'm not sure? I like the look but I don't really wanna do it if it's not gonna match all the way through that's why I wanted to see what some other people thought.

i dont think it would look bad, but keep in mind it does affect visibility through the tinted windows and in many states tinting the front windows is illegal

I don't know of a state that will legally allow that tine on the side windows to match.

Hey tm, you better check here or the tint law pertaining to your state.http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/
That said, I used 15% tint for my fronts and haven't had any problems so far. (Knock on wood). HTH.

Yea I know about the laws

I did it on previous cars... it is probable cause to get pulled over but for the most part I only had problems in the boonies/sticks.

So is it 20% in the back??? I want to make sure it matches... I knwo it's not going to look exact right in the beginning because the fresh tints look a little darker from the outside, but it's nothing you'd notice unless you were looking for it.

Well, if 15% haven't given me any problems. I think 20% would be better.

I believe mine are 20%.

The front doors match the rear doors and the look was excellent. My rear hatch tint is 10%.

The matching door tint was one of my fav and easiest mods.

I had mine tinted to match the rear. It is 20%. I plan on adding another shade of tint over the factory tint in the back glass to make it 10-15% so it will be harder for people to see what I got stashed in the back of the truck. I think in Texas, 35% is the darkest tint you can legally have for the fronts. But in most cities they don't enforce the 35% tint unless they want to get **** with you or if you become an *** to them! I just pull my window down waiting for the officer to come up to pass judgement on me!

Yep, cops and Troopers like it when they can see inside the vehicle. Whenever I get pulled over, all my windows are down with the interior lights on. My hands on the top of the steering wheel and music off. It helps to have my baby' car seat showing too.
