Default speakers

i havea 99 slt 5.2 leather infinty sound and alal four door speaker are blown any idea wear i can get replcments

I have a 98, same infinity system and I replaced all mine with pioneer and they sound just fine...

damn it dan, beat me to it, read that thread and then decide, infinity makes speakers which are designed to be used with the stock headunits, and make sure to get the right ones (2 ohms i believe)

I mostly did most of the write up on that thread. Back then, I used infinity 4 ohm speakers. You can use 4 ohm speaker on a 2 ohm system without hurting anything. But today, the 6012's 4 ohm speakers have been replaced by the current 6022's which are 2ohm speakers.

Another alternative. As long as the voice coils aren't blown, you can replace the foam rings cheap from www.simplyspeakers.com mentioned in my thread and how to replace them.

Or just rubber cement the separated areas of the coil back in place. Nearly permanent and just a $2 fix.
