Default Help...Can't get out of 4X4 Mode

I have a 2003 Dodge Durango SXT with 40k

When I switch from 4X4 to 2WD
the Light on 2WD Drive Blinks
meaning I didn't switch properly but I did!
The book says try again in 5 seconds and I did 50 times.
So I'm stuck in 4X4 mode

Please Help

check under the truck while someone switches the **** and let us know if you hear the motor trying to switch the modes, if not you might have a bad motor or TCCM (transfercase control module)

Thanks I got it working yesterday. This may sound weird but it was the problem for sure:
My (Window Wiper Blade) Fuse blew earlier that day. I never got over to the store to buy a new one cause I really didn't need them. Later that day is when I tried to change modes and found it didn't work. Waited till the next day and same...didn't work. I went and bought a box of fuses..changed the blown fuse and BOOM it came out of 4X4 mode after I changed the fuse for the Wipers. All I can guess is that that current is associated with that fuse
