Default Safe?

I have a 2000 durango with the 4.7 I want to do a t\s lift to but my wife just isnt sure. Her big problem is that she says it wont be safe. Now will the 2 inches of lift be that much more unsafe or should she just not worry about it? any input is welcome thanks

it is NOT a safety hazard, but it DOES change the handling characteristics (mainly it raises the center of gravity and increases body roll), some states have special inspection for lifted vehicles (im about 90% sure NJ has special restrictions for street driven vehicles)

Well, being a wide track suspension it isn't as much as an issue like regular SUV's with narrow track.
