Unhappy The Painful End

Changed fuel pump today. car ran then stalled when it was idling . Did not want to run after that. I did notice the the security light was on the das but when i reset it the motor would not run. I am now at the end! If I can not fix this problem I will have to scrap the D.

HELP

Try to swap out the relay in the PDC and check the fuel pressure.

Red face Need to know

Need to know more info about relay? How to check and what. I was thinking that it was the emergency shut-off relay. I do not know how to test this system. What is the PDC?

The PDC (Power Distribution Center). It is located under the hood on the drivers side fender well next to the battery. It is a fuse and relay panel. If you look under the lid you will find all the goodies! Look at the inside of the lid and you will see which one is the relay. You should also have a spare relay in there. Swap out the fuel pump relay with one of the same part number and see if that fixes the issue.

You also have a panel in the dash drivers side, and in the 200-2003 there is a few fuses behind that panel (mostly for the cigarette lighter/Power outlet and such).

I have changed the engine temp sensor, Mas Air flow temp sensor, T.P.S Idle air intake valve, Crank sensor, fuel pump, Emergency shut-down relay, Fuel pump relay.

It runs but when it warms up and you leave it idling it will stall after 20 minuets and then it will not run.

Thrown as much money at this car as i can. need to fix can anyone help

Sounds like a PCM then, sorry!

Look on ebay for a pre-flashed one that is bolt in ready about $200 shipped.
