Default 2000 Dodge Durango

Need help please!!! I have a durango, I LOVE my car, but it has 3 issues. It has 90K miles on it, and I want to get the car serviced, but would like to have some clue of what I am talking about. So if you could help a newbie out, I would so appreciate it!
1. the car wnt get cold -cold with air conditioning. It will get colder in the back vents, than in the front.

2. The car every now and again will rev up to 4 close to 5 if you let it.....before catching and changing gears normally. There is never a rhyme or reason it just happens...and as fast as it comes....it goes.

3. I smell a syrup like smell sometimes...I never see fluid on the ground under the car or inside of the motor??

If anyone can direct me....I'm thankful!

3. You have a heater core leak. You are smelling antifreeze.

2. What engine do you have? Sounds like the TPS on either motor. Does it ever 'hang' onto a gear and not what to shift? If so and it's a 5.9... AFTER the TPS, may be Pressure Gov Solenoid.

1. when they are fixing the heater core, swap the evap, have the AC serviced by vacing it down and pro recharge. For safety sake, change blower fan too while in there. $650 in parts, $650 in labor at a shop... not the dealer.

HTH,
