Arrow Need Help Durango 4.7 SLT

Hello...
Need help with my 2000 Durango. Many thanks in advance...
My durango has a problem that i can figure what it is. I'm driving fine and when I come to a stop, the motor sounds like it wants to shut off and then kicks little over to 1200rpm but still sounds like it want to turn off. I accelerate when the street light turns green, it go but slowly until it accelerating fine. At times the engine would shut off completely and I start it back up and runs like nothing never happen in the first place. When I have the Durango idling at times the engine just start shutting down slowly, and when it does that the air intake sounds loud like it try to suck a lot of air in. It also releases little more exhaust then my other car that at rare times black exhaust. It has the o2 sensor high 11 and a K n' N air intake kit, I don't think this has to do with the performance but I could be wrong.... Thnks...

Im newbie here and many thanks for your Help...

Could be the upstream 02 sensor. I just went thru all these problems as you are and since changing it my Durango has been running beautiful.

Upstream 02 sensor or a bad IAC valve.

The upstream 02 sensor is located before the catalytic converter. It's in an awkward position so kind of tough to get it off. I'm disabled and had to take mine to a shop to get it replaced.

The downstream 02 sensor is after the catalytic converter.

fuel pressure should be above 50 (i believe) and you check it at the schrader valve on the fuel rail
