I have a 2000 durango sport 5.2 liter 318 and the tranny went out. I happen to have a full size ram transmission here that is in a 2000 ram that also has the 5.2 318 in it. Will it bolt right up at work fine or?

Yes it should however get the numbers off the transmissions and call the dealer to ensure they are the same (44RE or 42RE were offered). If they are the same then everything will be fine.
