Default Bracket Racing

My local car club is gonna be having a bracket race day at a local drag strip. I wanted to know about running the D. Its a basic 2003 4.7. I have 4x4 lo/Hi Ive heard mixed opinions about running it out of the hole in 4hi, is this true and will it harm anything? I planned on taking anything out thats not part of the truck and also removing the spare for weight. I just wanna have fun and not lookin to pull any fast times for any means. hahaha What are some things you guys have done?

No, you will not harm anything as long as all 4 of your tires are aired the same and evenly worn. Just make sure you remember to take it out of 4x4 before you turn around at the other end of the track!!!!

By the way, when and where is this? I live in Apex and I might check it out!
