If you have the time and tools, it's basically remove bolts and nuts and replace them. I didn't have the time or tools. The garage i went to did everything for $300 plus a year warrantee.

Still dont need both packs replaced, just the one broken leaf in the pack. I consider this a non-DIY due to having intial alignment issues.

I called up the chrsyler mfg and filed a complaint about the upper ball joints and you know what they told me since it has more than 100,000 miles on it they can not pay for these i thought this was a recall issue. I also complain about the leaf spring breaking. They also told me it was wear and tear !!! I will never buy another chrsler vech ..again

Well the instructions were issued many moon ago so if it wasn't completed then it's user arrogance.

As for the broken leaf pack, go to a junk yard and get a new set and have a shop install and get it fully aligned. I fail to see that this is someone else's legal problem because of normal regular maintenance?

OMG parts dont last forever??!!
100,000 miles is alot- Parts will be worn out/break. All vehicles. That's life.

On behalf of the recall.
-IF your vehicle has not been fixed per recall it would be in the VIN database.
-The recall will always be in effect for the vehicles which VIN's have not been repaired.
-The recall is void if the parts were already placed
-IF you gave the Rep the VIN and it was never fixed THEY WILL NOT SAY NO.

Complaint/Recall question are two different things.

If you are overall straight up with your responses, i feel (opinion) you should not be allowed to operate a vehicle at all.
