Unhappy I drop a grommet into ckp sensor hole,Problem?

today i replace ckp sensor doue to p0320 dtc on my 2003 durango,but while inserting the new one the rubber grommet fell down,help please is it going to be a big problem?

Yeah, you'll need to fish it out. The grommet will interfere.

Where did it go, and are we talking about a Crankshaft Position Sensor?

CKS = crankshaft position sensor (as apposed to the CMP, cam shaft position sensor)

IIRC, there's an o-ring around the edge (at least on some CKSs, others might have more of a "gasket" type sealer). I bet this o-ring or something similar is the problem.

Either way, if anything gets into the cks hole, you'll need to get it out so that the cks works correctly.

how can i fish it out? is there any dust cover/cover in the bottom that i can able to open
