2000 5.9 Durango Sometimes Dies
Hello All,
I have a strange one. A couple of weekends ago while driving my Durango on a dirt road it died on me twice. I was going under 20 and when I let off the gas and it went back to idle it died ( I only noticed because I lost power steering.). Since then I have not driven it but I started it twice a week and let it run for 15-20 minutes. Today I notice when I am in neutral and give it gas then let off it almost dies. One time it did. Is my fuel pump going bad or could it be the TB?
Thanks as always,
Joe

sometimes a sticky IAC motor (on the back of the throttle body) can cause this, could also be the tps or a loose connection,
as long as the truck starts right back up immediately i would expect the fuel pump is fine
