Default 2001 R/T brake controller install

I have a 2001 R/T with tow package and have the blue female plug socket for the controller. Is there an adapter/plug available from aftermarket sources or do I have to go through a dealer? The controller is a Draw-Tite Activator II.
Thanks!

I just bought my D a little over a year ago, and it didn't have a controller. I picked up the one I mentioned above, now I just need to connect it to the existing factory plug under the dash.

Default Brake controllers

Hi all - We need to install a brake controller on our 2002 Durango. It has the factory tow package. Do you have any suggestions on which brake controller is better and any tips on installation?

If it came with tow package install is a cinch. Get a connector that goes from the back of the brake controller to the pigtail under the dash.

I personally have the Tekonsha Produgy P3 and its an awesome controller! Its a bit more expensive than others but hydra talked me into proportional controllers and I thank him every day I pull a trailer.

Tekonsha is the top of their game and it's nice because the braking pressure for the trailor brakes is directly proportional to the brake pedal pressure and doesn't slow you down quicker than you want if you are just slowing down rather than stopping.

Do your research but my .02 and I can vouch for hydra on this, pick a Tekonsha Prodigy because they're simply the best!
