he didn't say it was stuck open but said it needed new valves and guides. and also come to find out, it was parked due to an overheating issue

i guess the head gaskets are fine but the valvetrain has taken a serious beating. i have found a guy on ebay that sells rebuilt heads for $275 per side (after core). i think i'll start a new thread since we are on to a whole new problem.
