I have 8 in my R/T. A mid and tweeter in each door. I think the mids are 5 and 1/4 inch and the tweeters are one inch.

well, it's a 2000 Durango R/T with the infinity stereo. if it had two tweeters in the back doors, would they have a cover over them like they do in the front? also, what wattage should i be looking for in new speakers? i have heard it has a factory amplifier in it, so does anyone know what its wattage is? also, any suggestions for speaker brands or deck brands?
thanks

well ihave 8 in mine, (a tweeter and a mid in each door * 4 doors = 8)

the tweeters in the front doors are easy to find, and the mids in all doors are easy to find (the big round mesh style cutout) the tweeters in the back doors are just above the armrest hight towards the front of the truck, small round cutout areas like for the mids

front door:

For a head unit, you can put pretty much any single DIN model you want. As far as the amp, not sure. Speakers, wattage I don't think is super important, as long as you put in anything that will handle more than 80 watts, I'd imagine.
