What is that under your power outlets and above your T-case handle Indy?

That is one of two of my custom installed DVD players. I can have the screens all show what is playing up front or show different videos based on what playing on each one.

The one up front below the power outlets was in hand laid fiberglass and paint tinted to match the interior just to get that DVD player to mount there and to look right.

Here is the other one. It is flush mounted inverse (so the driver can reach it) on the face of the non-moving center section of the second row seats. It uses wireless headsets to separate the sound from that DVD player from the main stereo audio sounds.

Whatcha think?

Nicely done, I'm considering a setup of this sort myself, as I have two kids that are a PITA on road trips.

Slightly off topic, but where did you get those lift gate supports, they are awesome. I need to replace mine very badly (as soon as I finish building the engine).

Those are stocker lift gate struts with custom, one piece billet sleeves slipped over them with a single set screw.

There were 4 sets made exact to these in the world and I have 1 of them. They were sent to me from a very good friend in New York.

Thanks for noticing.

Holy crap, hs! I didn't even notice the dvd player until Indy mentioned it! I thought it was stock! Great job on the install! Indy, you have screens set into the seat backs? I think it's gonna be the next major project for me. My young uns ar abot that age that they'll need to be entertained on road trips... LOL!

Thanks guys.

At 214,000+ miles, me and my daily driver really appreciate the kind words.

Being truthful however, she only had 206,000 miles in those photos.
