Please Help
Let me start off by saying: I love my 2000 Durango ( a lot more last month when I bought it)
I have a 2000 Durango 4.7 slt. When we bought it at a dealership (with no warrenty...stupid!) the check engine light was on they replaced the o2 sensor before we took it said that was why the light was on. a couple days later light comes back on not a real big deal car's running fine...until we take it on a 600 mile trip. On the way home it stalls several times then over next couple of days it starts surging, stalling and idling rough. OBDII codes read it's TPS and MAP sensor also saying O2 sensor we replace map and tps...CHK ENG Lights still on. Now we have changed oil and filter, changed spark plugs, changed O2 TPS and MAP sensors, changed air filter, got a can of CRC intake cleaner and cleaned that; which loads of black smoke came out! Oh yeah and the car smells like exhaust bad outside of the car. Does anyone have any suggestions?

if it smells like exhaust you could have a bad catlytic converter, which could also be the O2 code, why dont you post up the CEL codes for us to see and we will better able to help you
also i hope you used cheapo copper core champion plugs in it, that is what these engines like best and made sure they were gapped correctly (.040)
