Default trailer wiring

hello all, new here, just picked up a 2000 durango 4.7, just put a trailer hitch on now can't find the wiring harness, or where do i splice a connector to or hook a factory one to thanks in advance

dude, 3 hours is not enough time to get a response, give us a chance to read it and get back to you

here is the wiring diagram from the shop manual http://www.mediafire.com/?zqzqwt20om2

you should be able to tap into the wiring at the rear tail-lights for the majority of the connections but i have not looked into it myself so be careful with what you do.

Give us some time.


Your harness should be above the spare tire or drivers side frame region so look real good in that section as it is usually tucked up in that section.

sorry guys i was just frustrated with this thing already, i bought a plug and go deal for a dakota thinking it was the same but is not, no dual plug ins behind bumper, i will check under spare tire and along drivers frame, also couldn't get the link to open for the wiring diagram any idea why????

its a download link, works fine for me, you need adobe acrobat to open the file

You can try Firefox browser as I've had to use it before.

hydra, you should be using firefox as your main browser, its what all the smart(sober?) ppl do

hmmm thats odd did you click open when the download option came up or did you save it to your hard-drive then try opening it hydra, does it work for you or do i need to upload it again?
