Default For Those That Have Swapped In Clear Corners ...

... how in heck did you separate the signal lights from the headlights??? I spen hours of frustration today trying to get them apart (without breaking the clips) so I could install the clear corners I just bought. I finally conceded defeat. The clips just wouldn't release & I didn't want to force them for fear of breakage.

Please, some advice, ANY advice!

(and yes, I did search)

there should be a torx screw or something in between the corners and the main lense (the headlights are only 2 pieces, the maind square lense and the one that wraps around the corner

+1

There is a single, tiny/long screw in the corner. Remove it and simply "pop" or "pull" towards you. Both can be removed in all of about 3 minutes.

If I remember correctly, the screw is located under the middle of the corner lense between the metal and the lense. LOOK REALLY CLOSE! It could also be on top between the head light and the corners but in center.

All done ... and you were both right: removing them was so quick. I can't believe I spent all that time yesterday trying to get them apart. I did see that screw, but I thought it had something to do with aiming the headlights.
Thanks guys!
