plz this is the first time i have used this and i need help so plzzz dont move me or deleat.... ....:icon_ doh:....
i have a 98 dodge durango and i sweped engines in it and all is good BUT iam not getting a spark from the coil plss help me i will be back on all the time or if you have something for me call or text me plzzz 813-325-4601 my name is mark .............. iv swaped a lot of engines and never have i ran in to this kinde of problum

is the coil hooked up properly, is the coil any good, try a new coil, also what engine did you swap in? and what did you start with (if they are different sizes) are the crank and cam position sensors good, you say the coil is not sparking, did you check that with a plug in the wire from the coil held to the block????

yes all is new and all is good the coil is new and the csps is new so is the cscand i still can not get a sprke from the coil i have checked all the wires and there is nothing when i cranck the truck you can smell gas and all that good stuff and still no spark.........................
what about the computer being a differnt engien could it need to be checked

The PCM needs to be flashed by a dealer. The other thaing you can do is order a pre-flashed one from Ebay for about $200 bucks or see if they will flash yours for cheaper. They are the same block but the 5.9L and 5.2L have a different stroke.

Flash it for what reason?
This smells fishy. Who puts that many smileys, can swap a motor but can't check the ignition and posts TWICE what is supposedly their personal phone number out on the internet?
