i make good money, but i am not loaded, those tires were worn out and we were on the way out to get the new tires mounted after we shot the burnout video, wouldnt call it a waste, just a "final use" lol. for what its worth i went with bfg at's 31x 10.5 15's- up from the 235 75 15's.

i have a 40 series on it

Dang dude that sounds awesome... much to the dismay of Indy and HS, I'm getting a 40 FM on my D sometime during the summer. You just sold me!
Also, how much did the shaker hood cost you?

i guess i should add this in while you are on the flowmaster subject. the 40 series does sound great, but bear in mind that on an open backed suv design you will have some drone at lower rpm high way speeds. any chambered muffler will produce drone at some level, the 40 series wasnt designed to reduce drone, just make aggressive tones and power.
that being said keep that in mind when you make your muffler choice. mine has some slight drone to it at highway speeds in overdrive. nothing horrible, this is the wife's daily driver and she doesnt complain about it. but it is there and noticable.
Seeing as how you are happy with the way mine sounds and i will assume you may be worried about drone i would suggest a flowmaster 50 series suv. if you follow flowmaster mufflers you will find in the cutaway that the 50 suv is the exact same dimensions and internal design as teh old school 30 series (now discontinued as of 2003) the origonal 30 series muffler was designed specificly as the top 10 street shootout class muffler of choice. this means that it was a high flowing muffler that meets strict low decible and drone standards. the muffler never really took off in the "street" world so fm dropped the line a few years ago.
relativly recently the 50 suv came out. it shares teh exact same design as the old 30 with the exception of 1 additional baffle at the exit of the muffler. this does not affect flow but does reduce drone a hair more then its predecesor. the muffler will cost you a little more then a 40 series but i think in the long run you will be happier with it.
i recently made the change on my 69 charger. i ran the origonal 40 series on my car and while it was fun to drive, it was only fun to drive for about 20 minutes. after that you literally had a headache from the intensity of the noise and the drone. you could not hold a conversation in the car with a passenger even screaming at each other.granted this is an extreme case as in a big block passenger car but it gets teh point across for comparison sake. i wanted to change mufflers and i wanted the old 30 series, my research led me to the above listed results so i hesitantly purchased a pair of 3 inch 50 series suv mufflers and installed them on my car. i could not be happier. the results were astounding. idle is very tame, cruise yields me absolutly no drone at all, however when you lay into the throttle its like it uncaps teh pipes, loud and authoritive, and the tone is different as well.

here are 2 quick comparitive videos of my car, 1st the 40's then the 50 suv's
